Piece of Google’s page ranking system depends on the amount of links to a page. In common, a lot of links to a page, the more well-liked the page is and thus the higher the page rank is. The fewer links, the lower the rating. There are several exceptions to that rule. The lure for website owners becomes to find seats to link to their site in order to boost ranking. There are several services that tender to increase a site’s page rank by counting links to the page on called “link farm” pages. These pages subsist only to display links for the reason of increasing page rank. Link farms are not for visitors, which is why these pages are often tricky for search engines. Being linked in a link farm can cause a site to drop rank, despite the unique aim to do otherwise. Over time, websites can find genuine sites that are willing to link to their site, which will, over time, increase the site’s rank.

Doing so would give the person access to further information, as well as the ability to wreak havoc on the blog itself.
We just got yet another update from the widely used blogging platform Wordpress about a security issue discovered that can be used to exploit your blog. Wordpress has just released its 2.8.2 version fixing an XSS vulnerability.

Edit the Hosts File In Your Computer
You can also block Google AdSense Ads by using another simple trick. Open the host file in your PC with Word Pad/note pad and add the following entry in the host file of your PC:
? 127.0.0.2 pagead2.googlesyndication.com
Once you save the hosts file and restart your browser, you will not see the AdSense ad while you are working on your AdSense web site.
You can find the hosts file from the following directory of your PC:
? Windows 95/98/Me (c : \windows\)
? Windows NT/2000/XP Pro (c : \winnt\system32\drivers\etc\)
? Windows XP Home(c : \windows\system32\drivers\etc\)
Please be aware that if you’ve disabled the javascript in your browser, any program that is relied on Javascript may encounter problems. If you’ve disabled the AdSense ad by editing your host file, you would not be able to view any Google AdSense Ads from any Google AdSense site. So it is highly recommended that you undo the changes when you finish working on your site.
