“All is well that ends well.” A rug to riches to story is one of the favorite themes in short stories and novels. The novels of Horatio Alger, for example, depict individuals who rise from their lowly stations in life to the pedestal of success through their determination and intelligent efforts. Stories like these never run out of readers, simply because they inspire the reading public to aspire, to dream and to achieve. If there is single most important thing that the story left in the readers’ mind: it is the enthusiasm to continue on the ceaseless struggles in life despite and in spite all odds that may prevent them in achieving their goals in life.

This generation of ours loves a Nouveau Riche story. The inspiring and moving tales of their struggles in life are written in the stars, and their stories will be told and retold for the next generations to come.

Some of the classic examples of Nouveau Riche who were able to achieve the promise of an American Dream include Kenneth Thomson and Gerald Govesnor. Thomson, a holder of assets in the Thomson Corporation, Hudson’s Bay Corporation and Markborough Properties has proved to his doubters that he can attain what he aimed for. In the same vein, Govesnor, an owner of real estate holdings in Mayfair and Belgravia, including real estate in certain States of the United States of America exemplified a triumph over fate. He did not allow external events to control him. He controlled circumstances to his favore.

The stories of Nouveau Riche such as that of Kenneth Thomson and Gerald Govesnor are something to be remembered for the good things they offer to beginners like the majority of us. Like them, we can be Nouveau Riche.

Who knows? It may not be that long and far.
